5 Natural facial masks to rejuvenate your skin!

These are my favorite 5 facial masks that I use frequently and so far give excellent results!
Also, as we live in a hurry and unisex world, these masks are ideal for women and men are easy to prepare, try it!
1.     Oatmeal mask; particularly, this is one of my favorite masks as it not only helps rejuvenate the skin but also helps to exfoliate and remove freckles and spots.
Preparation: Mix 2 tablespoons of oatmeal, a spoon of milk and honey. Stir well and place on the face 20 to 30 minutes. Because the oats uses to get dried, you can remove the mask with water or warm chamomile tea. I use it once a week and believe me, your skin will be fresh and with a natural glow.
2.     Strawberries mask; is excellent for oily skin and it is also a great exfoliator.
Preparation: Cut into small pieces 5 strawberries and crushed until you get a puree, then mix with 2 tablespoons of honey and let stand for 2 minutes. Then extend the mask on the face being careful with your eyes and leave 30 minutes. If you constantly your skin will have a big change, you'll see!
3.     Mask of papaya and olive oil; this mask will be perfect for you if you have dry skin. Papaya also has properties that help remove skin freckles.
Preparation: Cut a piece of papaya and mash to make it a puree, then add a tablespoon of olive oil and voila! Apply to face and leave on for 15 minutes. Do this once a week.

4.     Chocolate mask; this mask is not only rejuvenating but is wonderfully effective! Also, it not only can apply on the face but works for the neck skin too!
Preparation: You can make this mask with melted unsweetened chocolate (1 ounce) or 2 tablespoons of powder chocolate (unsweetened). Mix the chocolate with olive oil or honey, leave on your face for 20 minutes and there you go! You will see that your skin is not only with a nice glow but also smell yummy! Apply 1 time a week.
5.     Banana mask with Vitamin E; this mask is ideal for all skin types and will help you to recover your health skin and if you are constant you will notice that the freckles begin to disappear.
Preparation: crushed half a banana and mix with the gel 4 capsules of vitamin E, apply on face and leave on for 30 minutes. You can remove the mask with warm water and dry your face with a soft towel.
Masks give good results if they are used consistently, also try not be exposed to the sun for 1 hour after you remove the mask, else you run the risk of developing freckles on your face. Remember that masks are a natural choice and in no case should be replaced by medical treatment.

Friends, something you must have in your life..

A few years ago, I had a painful experience that I must lived and luckily I was not alone as well as my close family, I had the good fortune to meet my friends. Friends to this day I have the blessing to keep.
Meet? Oh yes, that situations where you are testing can differentiate who is your friend and who is not. Friends are not only in the joys but also in times of confusion, disorientation, problems, nightmares and loneliness. They are who will help you carry that heavy load at that time you may be need it.
I know, we live and different places and circles of society at once, such as college, work, or even our school. So as friends of various circles are very difficult to integrate. That is not required to do it, but to spend time with them, it is. Now with all the technology, a mail, phone message, a video call can be helpful alternatives to keep in contact.
Cultivate your friendships, become interested in them, talk about their dreams, goals, worries, fears, you will see that as the years pass, all that now seems very confuse, the lived experience and life will teach you and all will become a pleasant memory. The best thing is that, that remember will be not only yours but also your friend’s or friends’ in common too. Tell me isn’t that great?  
Perhaps a trip will help you and your friends to get closer, a camp or a holiday. If you are just men, the first thing that comes to my mind is a trip for hiking or extreme sports; who knows, adrenaline might have a positive effect! And if you are just girls travel to a relaxing place where pampered and puffed up, could be the better.
And indeed, any reason is good; tell them how much you appreciate to be part of your life, how important they are for you and how lucky you feel because you found them. Believe me, that kind of friendship will be your treasure.

And you, find your MOJO?

One day we woke up looking forward, with energy, with hopes of changing things that we want! But still, other days we are lost, without direction and wanting to stay in bed just thinking. Just for in case, I am not talking about medical disorders, only about simply lost of motivation. Have you ever have felt this present so much that can affect our results, our performance and in important decisions like we were taking them blind?
So I'm sure it does, and the above is still the extreme, it is not too far from what may reflect the behavior that we can sometimes have. This does not mean that we are fickle or have no personality. The thing that happens is that we not always know our essence, that something that defines us and drives us every day. Our mojo!
While we do not know what our motivation for life is, we are going to be like the sheep following the flock; we have no choice of course and just accept whatever comes. But do not feel bad!
Therefore, it is wise to recognize that we need to focus!  So, we what can we do?
-          Make a list of things that you want to do, where we want to go and what we must to make it happened.
-          Aware of where and what point in your lives you are. In this way, you'll see how it starts to become clearer horizon.
-          Propose deadlines for the writing list and check it every weekend.
Put yourself challenges every day, more demanding goals, and keep them constantly. Get over yourself and keep the faith that you can. You will see that as the days pass, the ideas you are thinking will change and may even include some new ones. Take it easy. That is common, because every day we are exposed to different situations and people.
So, this exercise is important because that will shows that thing what defines you, what you think it is important and what you need to make it happen; in a few words: your MOJO!

The forgotten friend...

Exercise our body is part of a healthy routine that must be used to follow, but if you're not doing it, don’t feel bad, is never too late to start. When we are in the gym we strive to exercise parts of our body that we believe need to be worked or achieve greater agility in our activities which will be reflected in our lifestyle. In my case, I'm not as tired as I was before when I walk a block or two, excellent, isn’t?
But, what can you tell me about that part of our body which we are unaware but nevertheless manages everything we do? That poor mass treasured in our heads and sometimes we too lazy to use. Yes! I mean our brain!
These are some exercises that can be used to exercise our brains:
1.       Set a goal in the number of ideas; as well as we have a number of sets of focused exercises to do in the gym, let us resolve to have a number of ideas per day, some will seem unbelievable or something crazy and in the begging it will cost us to start but it will be easier day per day.
2.       Pay attention; not be clueless (that too is a personal wake-up call, I must admit). Be attentive to everything around you and perhaps will find inspiration where you least expect it.
3.       Have habits but no obsessions; we are all creatures of habit but it that does not mean that we feel lost if our program is affected. We must be flexible to changes. Change is the only thing that is constant., Heraclitus. For example, make new friends, take a new route to work, Dress on differently than usual, try new experiences!
4.       Feed our minds; Gore Vidal quote: “the brain that is not fed, feeds on itself”. Choose a reading that will motivate our imagination, mythical stories or police for example, and think ahead of what could happen; imagine scenarios.
5.       Keep a diary of our ideas; write everything that happens to us in the day, at the beginning will be 2 or 3 lines but then will be 6, 10 or more. The flow will be higher each time and this can apply not only to our professional lives but to our business: creativity is a powerful tool for business. That is something we should implement right now! 
      So, star to exercise this forgotten friend and keep thinking!

A timeout and then reloaded!

Don’t you have days where you would like to wake up in a different place, being able to do new activities, or meet new people who not necessarily share your interests, but are open to hearing opinions and besides that, not only for a day but weeks or months?
But believe me you're not alone; sometimes we need a break from our environment. But not because we do not want them to be close or because we do not worry about them, what happens is that we are like a battery, we need to be recharged!
For example, without not going too far, we can go on a trip to a place nearby. A quick search on the Internet can be the solution; there are so many alternatives if you want to travel around your city, you can also go to forums and ask for the opinions of people who have previously visited that place. For me, the ideal place to visit has to have a different landscape, fresh air, great food and entertainment nearby.
Now, if you are looking for a good dose of relaxation and you have more free time and savings to support it, you can go outside your country. For example, hiring a tour! They now have armed many packages designed to meet different customer types, so to have alternatives is not going to be a problem.
And if for some reason you have no budget, let me tell you that you can do it instead. How? Disconnect from the weekend is prior, to do this tell your friends that you are not going to do any plans, you will not do visits. Go to the supermarket and buy everything you want to eat during your time off. Look for the book that you have not been able to read so far, watch your favorite TV program, update your blog, sleep early, that is, everything that you feel will be a relaxation for you without leaving home.
After this, you will see that you feel strongly and productive, with more desire to do things and more ideas. You will be a rechargeable version of yourself! The best of it is that motivation could be contagious and that’s a condition that everyone needs to have. And who knows people around you might wonder why you had this big change. It’s a true story.
The thing is that we do not get tired or stressed to feel we need to take a timeout, we must learn to recognize when we need it and not feel guilty about it.

Don't stop

That is what I constantly tell it to myself! Is that in fact, complementing the previous post about the stress; I always look to be busy but not stressed.
In few words, I seek to have activities that integrate with the lifestyle that I want: work, go to the gym, writing a blog, to search for relevant information (for me) and also to have free time to relax. additional to this; there is one thing always have characterized me, without being hyperactive or anything, -because several times people have said I am-, and is that i usually have many ideas at once in my head, I have something in mind, something to say, someone to talk to, something I need to purchase, or other activity that might missing in my life.
But tell me, if the brain process’ speed is millions of calculations per second, why my brain has to work less than that? i have always believed that my neurons are in constant training and if they don’t do enough exercise, then they would became slow!
I think in these days where everything runs so fast, technology, information and time does not let up. ie, we can see our emails and close deals from the comfort of our home with a laptop or blackberry, to see our loved ones by a Skype video call, and we have much information at our disposal with the internet that now there is no excuse for not keep learning every day. And then with all this, how can we not be at a mile per hour? Be multitask?
If we have a little moment for reflection, this may be an attitude that we always have and we do not realize but it has not to be seen as something negative, but as a way to take full advantage of every second we have life.
The important thing is to know how to organize our time, to always have priorities, to have defined our goals and see the way forward.

How to persevere and not lose the enthusiasm

Whether you want to graduate, up in your job, losing those extra pounds that we always think we have, or even in many cases of entrepreneurship, ie, start your own business, there is a key word: perseverance.
But be careful not to confuse obstinacy with perseverance, they are very different things. Although the two have a common result: a goal. The first is not always successful b/c stubbornness is never a good partner, it not lets you see beyond the obvious as only see things from your perspective, teaches to not hearing anything else or anybody and to not have an open mind to changes that may be in the process.
The perseverance, however goes hand in hand with intelligence, it sees everything through the way, not just the changes that may have the process in the meantime  but also see the new opportunities arise, and teaches to think that making mistakes and to keep learning is related  with reaching of the set goal.
So, what to do when something has been followed for so long and still not have something concrete? Demoralize? Back to thinking about new goals? Blame destiny? The answer is a big: NO!!!!
The first thing to do is organize and plan next steps and time to do them, make an introspection to find what you're doing wrong or strengthen weaknesses, also could seek advice from a mentor, or a colleague, get information in forums, or in blogs because maybe we can be a bit confused about the information we need to keep walking.
But above all you must think that YOU will succeed, in other words, making a display of the path to your goal, focus all your efforts, desire and heart to the goal, and only then you already have gained much.
Remember, persevere for to achieve a goal is like swimming in the sea, sometimes you can swim with the help of the waves and others against, but more importantly is to not drown in the shore.

Natural treatments, are you sure?

Everyone told me that phrase every time I wanted to test a treatment for skin that is not sold in pharmacies, is to say that I want to do it with natural ingredients.
And it’s because each treatment has pros and cons. In the case of medicated treatments or cosmetic moisturizes that promise to eliminate the unwanted expression lines, crow's legs, spots, freckles, dark circles, give natural shine in the face, in other words, give us the L-O-O-K! Its effects are usually quickly; noticeable after a few days, but may also be that we go out to buy wool and goes shorn. And that because in more than one occasion I was excited to try new treatments, moisturizes and beauty pills and sometimes noticed results but not as I expected and others gave me an allergic reaction. I know that in these free samples times, it is logical to try before, but not always they have as much content as the original product to test them effectively.
That’s when I became interested in natural products: masks of oats, chocolate, vitamin e, papaya, steam facial, etc. Believe me, I note a few changes and very good! Logically, we must be consistent and make them knowing the right time to do it. I say this because, for example if you want to clear skin you can do it with lemon juice and milk, but you have to do it at night, if not, you run the risk of get freckles . And so, everything has its time and space. What I like about these natural products is that they act by their natural oils deep into the skin and do not cause allergic reactions because fruits, vegetables, honey, milk, yogurt and oats are very soft and are friendly not only with our cells also with the environment.
Then to tell you, I use both. When I give a time to myself I can make masks, put them on my face, lie down and rest a moment. I can also add soothing scents such as vanilla, lavender, nuts or almonds natural oils to enter in to a state of deep relaxation. Also, if I have many things to do I can use the most recommended moisturizes on the market and reach the one within my budget.

Hypothyroidism, the silent disease

To start, what I will tell you; is a personal experience because I suffer from hypothyroidism, I do not know since when but I know I found when I was 12 years. Everything was by chance when one day my mom and I were playing and she saw a lump in my neck, which nobody else had noticed. With that, she took me to the doctor who diagnosed me with hypothyroidism and goiter.

So I started taking hormone therapy, which resulted in different symptoms such as tachycardia and flushing. When I was 16 my good mood began to flag, and did not want to do anything, just wanted to sleep, my hair began to fall, I could hardly get out of bed, I was always tired and sleepy and the most tragic (at least for a teenager ) was that I started to gain weight!

After look for a good endocrinologist all over my city and after several failed treatments, the doctor was able to stabilize the dose of hormone needed, that was at age 20! Since then I have to get monthly and annual checkups, which are indicators of how controlled is my hypothyroidism and my goiter (with that I know if all goes well and have to get a biopsy to dismiss cancer.)
Now all this mess would be not so bad if the hypothyroidism had no symptoms! as to name a few, these include hair loss, brittle nails, dry skin, sleep, cysts, depression, mood swings, constipation, tendency to gain weight, muscle weakness, feeling constantly cold, loss of memory. In children, this disease does to not get to grow normally and can affect learning because it is known that hypothyroidism has implication in intellectual performance. So, that's when you have to take some care, in my case I take tablets to help me improve energy, eat healthy food rich in fiber, I exercise and drink lots of water, and use body and face moisturizers.

This post is just to give advice, if you have one or more of the symptoms above, then go to see a doctor and begin treatment as soon as possible, since this disease is not always present with a goiter and may have the disease untreated for years and that can lead to more serious illnesses. I have also known that in this days a discard of this disease can be done so congenital hypothyroidism could be detected in newborns, and treatment could start as soon as possible and avoid problems of motor and mental delay.

Are you stressaholic?

Any resemblance to reality is purely coincidental….
How start your day? You wake up, you take your time to stand up and detach yourself from the sheets, when finally you are with your senses at 60% walk to the bathroom (getting lucky not to trip over nothing, believe me, it have happened to me)you  take a shower so  wake up you at all, you take something fast to eat, fight with the daily traffic and when you get to your workplace you realize that have to do many things, also have to add the things you left pending by the previous day and above all you are starving because you didn’t eat enough at breakfast?
Well, if so, believe me you are not the only one that suffer this things, many people in the world sooner or later are stress,  the important thing is to know how to realize when we are stressed, know what causes it and the most important of all, have much willingness to leave behind that bad habit.
Habit? You will ask why I speak of a habit when I mention stress, and that’s because we unconsciously create the habit of always being stressed, we have become addicted to stress. We see it is there and not do anything about it; we follow the flow and the daily rhythm of day and nothing else. We either do not know how to organize our time, have poor eating habits, do not prioritize our activities and especially do not give quality time to ourselves.
To start the day with the right foot, start putting a clock with a slack time of 10 minutes at least to take some time to stretch out, then you needs to have your clothes ready and everything that you will use in the morning to be clean and changed quickly. Now for breakfast there are alternatives that will tell you I've tried and I can personally attest that they work, such as prepared or precooked meals, I prepare oatmeal the day before, and so in 2 minutes in the microwave with  milk and voila! That with an infusion or a cup of coffee in the morning is a great alternative to go long during the morning as the Oatmeal is a very good food that fights cholesterol, provides fiber and milk provides calcium.
When you get to work is essential that you have a timetable and an agenda, write down everything you do during the day. Then at the end of the day put a check at all that you already did  and so the next day so you take into account what you do and what you left so you would be able to prioritize what we should do first. At the end of the week you will have several tasks already done and some that are not, but let's not panic because there will always be setbacks and we are not superman! We cannot do everything! With all ordered and knowing what things are missing, we'll need to establish an end date to fulfill whatever we need or maybe we can ask for help, it could be to your work partner and that not only helps to lighten the workload but also makes you show up as a team worker, that you know how to recognize when you need help and especially be recognized as a person who is willing to learn and that’s always a positive image!
And after a day of work, if you have extra activities such as studying an extra course or as in my case, go to the gym, you must not take it as something difficult to do, but as an activity that engages yourself, either developing your knowledge or exercising your body to be healthy, in any form that does a lot for you.
And at night, after you do all you have to do and when you are about to sleep, take a minute to remember everything you did in the day, congratulate yourself because you did your best, breathe deeply, stretch and then close your eyes with a smile in your face and you'll see that the next day will keep smiling all day.

Hellow!!!!!!!

As we know the beauty and health go hand in hand, health comes of  the peace of the soul, feel good about what you do, take care not just eating right and exercising but also taking time off to dedicate to yourself, see inside ourselves and know that every day we are making the effort in what we do as much as possible and that is where the beauty comes out, we smile more, we have energy to start the day, we are in a good mood and even our skin and hair has a natural glow.
However, there can be bad days, days when something breaks out of our control and we must accept what has to happen or has happened. Then, there is where we need to implement all our self-control, patience and good mood. Nowadays in which the stress is our daily bread, we are more exposed to diseases that can range from simple headaches to those who require treatment such as depression and heart diseases.
Also influence us not only the workplace, but also family and sentimental environment and satisfaction of personal development, no matter how old you are, gender or where you come from. In other words, all people around us affect our behavior and mood and we into theirs, then why not wanting to be better, happier, and so infect all of the beauty of life.
This blog aims to find all the alternatives that can help us live better, happier, more health and beauty, it is always nice to have a little help, don’t you think?
